Founded by artist and designer Joanna Mulder, Strange Treasure brings together original artwork, unique apparel, accessories, and home goods inspired by everything from tropical escapes and vintage design to fantasy, science, nature, nostalgia, and the occasional delightfully strange idea.

Are Our Designs Original?

Yes. Every Strange Treasure design begins as an original creative concept and is developed with care, curiosity, and an occasionally unhealthy amount of enthusiasm.

Many of our products feature artwork created by founder and designer Joanna Mulder, while others may incorporate licensed assets, public domain elements, or collaborative creative resources that are thoughtfully transformed into something uniquely Strange Treasure. Regardless of the tools or inspiration involved, every design is carefully curated, refined, and selected to reflect the spirit of the brand.

Thoughtfully Made

We love nature, wild places, strange creatures, beautiful landscapes, and the incredible diversity of life on Earth. They're a constant source of inspiration for the artwork and products you'll find throughout Strange Treasure.

That's one of the reasons we choose a made-to-order production model whenever possible. Rather than producing large quantities of inventory that may never find a home, most items are created only after they're ordered. While no manufacturing process is completely impact-free, we believe this approach helps reduce waste and encourages a more thoughtful way of creating and consuming.

We may not be perfect, but we're committed to continually making choices that balance creativity, quality, and respect for the world around us.

Strange Treasure Quests

Strange Treasure isn't just about collecting beautiful things. It's also about making a positive difference whenever we can.

Throughout the year, we'll launch special Strange Treasure Quests—limited collections and featured products created to support causes we care about. A portion of proceeds from these items will be donated to charitable organizations working to protect people, animals, communities, and the natural world.

The organizations may change, but the goal remains the same: use creativity as a force for something good. We believe that art can help save the world.
